A man caused a scene today as he attempted to enter the National Treasury building to protest the high cost of living that has been experienced nationwide.
The man who was carrying a placard was determined to get his message across without minding the strong security personnel outside the building.In his message he expressed how disappointed he was with the government for failing Kenyans and the hunger that has been experienced in the country.“I am ready to die for freedom,we want food and the government has failed us!” he shouted.The police however didn’t give him a chance as the scooped him into an already waiting car.
This comes a day after Treasury cabinet secretary Ukur Yatani announced they are preparing to present the 2022-2023 budget estimates.
