Jalang’o Floors Opponents In ODM Nominations To Win Lang’ata MP Ticket

Comedian and radio presenter turned politician Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has won the Lang’ata Constituency ODM ticket in the party primaries held on Friday.

Jalango’ garnered 3,509 votes, flooring his closest rival Oscar Omoke who got a paltry 1,612 votes.

The media personality now will face off with the incumbent lawmaker Nixon Korir of UDA in the August polls.In Kibra constituency, long time serving high school principal Peter Ochieng’ Orero bagged 3,422 votes to defeat the incumbent MP Imran Okoth who got 2,739 votes in the nominations.
