A mother, her three children, and two grandchildren were among those killed in the April 9 incident, which has left residents in shock.
They will be buried in Gatitu, approximately 10 kms from where they perished.

The victims were identified as Mary Wangui, 60, and her three daughters, Cecilia Gathoni, 30, Lucy Mumbi, 18, and Margaret Wanja, 15.
Others who died in the fire were Gathoni’s two children aged 7 and 3.
